An Attitude of Gratitude:
Warren Dunes State Park
Thanks to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, we went on a little road trip and visited the Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer, Michigan. We’ve been to the dunes before, but I’m always in awe of the amazing sights!
And here are a few more shots (the Warren Dunes are along the eastern shore of Lake Michigan).
And, here’s the video.
The best part of our visit to the Warren Dunes was that it was with the whole family (my Trail Tracing partners, and my two kids – not really kids anymore!). I love my family and am extremely grateful for everything that they’ve brought to my life. And, here’s the thing, there’s actually science to back-up how being grateful, feeling grateful, can make our lives better. Here are a couple of article links that may be of interest.
What are you grateful for? Maybe start a gratitude journal, where you write down one thing each day that you’re grateful for? I recently found one I did a few years ago, and many of my daily entries were family-related.
